Fabulous Finish

This is the track that Ghost, Lu, and Pettina raced in. I painted the javelin, the hammer throw, hundred meters, and the track, I also made a stadium out of cardboard and lego. The lego pieces are the seats in the stand. This relates to the story because all the characters in the book like to run. It was hard to paint the lanes around the track, it was also hard to find space for all the javelin and shotput area. I found it easy to find all the lego pieces and putting them together, it was also easy to paint the base of the track and stand.

How to stay save in the wild.

Making a hut

• Basic Tarp and rope tent it is called the Makeshift tent.
• Creating a hut out of twigs and stick alongside a tree it is called a Lean-to
• A debris hut is branches with lots of debris over some branches for shelter.

How to make a fire

• Making fire with friction For this you need to grab two sticks and dry debris then rub the stick together to create spark ad it will start a fire.
• The hand Drill Method, create a big ball of dry leaves and get one stick and spin it around in the leaves.
• The lense method first you need a pair of glasses or magnifying glass and get some paper and reflect the sun of the magnifying glass or the glasses on to the paper and it should create fire.

FINDING WATER

• Find clean water from creeks.
• Find clean water that has been trapped by leaves.
• Follow any animals that might lead you to water.

Shoes

This is my chapter chat for this week I drew a drawing of Castle's old shoes and his new shoes. There is a flap for the before and after shoes. For the after shoes I drew Nike track shoes and the before shoes I drew black Vans.

Knot's

This is the Figure Eight knot it is hard at the start but when you get used to it it is easy as.  To rate the hardness out of 5 I would give it 2/5 and the easiness 3/5.

Knots

This is the Bowline knot it is very tricky to put the string through the right hole. The knot could be used to hang something of a tree. for the hardness, I give it 3/5 and the easiness I give 2/5.

This is my Clove Hitch knot. I worked hard to finish this. This knot good be used to pull things along. It was hard putting the string through the right hole. I would rate the hardness 3/5 and the easiness 4/5. I enjoyed this because we got to try these different knots.

Our Tent

Me and my group made a tent and a hut for are survivor challenges. In my group, we had me Kingston, Shiloh, Lily, and Ella. The hardest part for the hut that made was working together as a team with one idea, the easy part was taking it down. The hard part for the tent was putting the poles through the holes, the easy part was taking it down.

This is my Chapter Chat for this week, I have created an acoustic poem from the book Ghost. I did Ghost, Lu and, Patty. It was very hard to find out which word I should use for the letter, especially Patty.

Bush Hut

 Me and my ells (Hayden, Patrick, Seth, Tamzin and Shelby) are going to make a hut. To make this hut you will need a tarp, pole, paracord, and something to peg it into the ground. Your tarp will need to be 100% waterproof. we will need the paracord for tying up the tarp and the pole.
