Whetu Catapult Challenge

The things that I used to make my catapult were: three rubber bands, a spoon, and 6 popsicle sticks.

To make my catapult I worked with Oscar & Cody

The most challenging part was trying not to break it, but we failed.

Our best results were in the challenge for the highest catapult shot, we came fourth.

Overall I think that we did well because we only had a spoon.

This is the emoji that I made on google drawing I made the face from all of these different shapes off google drawings and the arms I traced around them. The hard part was tracing around the arms and it is annoying when you get it wrong and The easiest bit was getting the shapes and putting the face together.

Week 1 Reflection

Week 1 Reflection

What has been my highlight this week is playing Manhunt with my friends.

What was I nervous about this week, I was nervous about forgetting something to take to school.

For dress-up day I dressed up as a fisherman.

The funniest thing has happened this week is seeing dolphins in the Piako because they are not usually in there.

I think the best-dressed person was Ryan Because I think it was funny that he dressed up as a cute dog.

Milk Bottle Creation

I made a bird feeder out of a milk bottle. I cut the bottom out and glued it upsidedown in the bottle then I put a big hole in the bottle. Then I put some birdseed, And hang it up in the tree  

Fabulous Finish

This is my Fabulous Finish I did the character model and I also did a story about Fudge a character from the book Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing. I did three flaps, Under the flaps, I drew Fudge's stomach with a turtle in it because, in the book he swallowed a turtle, I drew a picture with his missing teeth under a flap because in the book he knocked his teeth out by jumping a high area, and I drew a thinking bubble above his head that says "TROUBLE!" For the background, I drew a rainbow swirl with coloured pencil. My hard times were when I was at my Grannys house to visit here in level two but I could not do any school work because the internet and stuff went wrong. My easy times were when I got to do the coloring in. 

Toddle Bike

This is a drawing of Fudge riding a toddle bike for an advertisement on tv I drew a little background because in the book it was a fake background. Then I draw someone holding a light, camera, action thing. I also drew an Oreo bar but didn't fit in the photo.

Fudge's X ray

This is a drawing of Fudge from the book called Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing. In the story Fudge swallows, his brother's turtle then had to go to the hospital to get it out they gave him castor oil and prune juice to get it out when they got it out they had to tell his brother that the turtle did not make it, R.I.P Dribble.

Golf in Lock down

This is me hitting golf balls into a paddock it is a good pass time. I lost a few in a drain but it is ok cause we've got heaps.

Peter Drawing

This is Peter he is the main character in the book Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing, at first I only did his top halve and nothing else then I thought that is not a supernova so I added a background and his bottom halve. I did a big building because the story is based in New York. It took a very long time to color everything thing in, In some bits, I did color pencils and some bits I did felt tips.
